I had a fellow artist find it funny that I did not enjoy the sight of brains.
I found it strange he felt that way.
So I only thought it would be fair to illustrate why brains are gross. The more you stare , the more you look, the more you think about a brain. But more importantly YOUR brain.
Obviously they rule, because we can not operate without them. That is not what I am saying. The general look of the brains with all their squishy nubbiness. Is a disgusting thought. Here is two illustrations to show how it looks to me.
A short film by my talented wife wrote, shot an edited. OTK (one take Kate). Is extremely bright individual and someone I spend a lot of time with. We are often bouncing ideas and making them a solid ideas. Not just a pipe dream. We think of everything from TV show ideas through to theme tunes to shows that don't exist. Or just a theme for feeding the cats. It is fun and keeps the brain active and mostly creative. She is a very talented writer with brains to match. She is a stunner of a lady and so proud to call her my wife. I feel lucky to be spending m life with her.
I was also lucky to star in my first roll on Camera.
This was a great experience for myself. I spent an entire day racing around being Max Power. It was hard. The funny thing is. I have changed so much since this was shot in 2010. Its now 2013 (dec). I am a very different man. Through choices I have made to better myself. Through these choices I have become more and more like Max Power. a pencil enthusiast.
FINAL WEEK. The film was rendered out over the weekend. We compiled the film in after effects and found the timing was working. We were feeling confident.
We spent all of Monday making sure all the renders had all the assets. We only had to re-render one small scene not effecting the production flow at all.
I went to my friend who is a sound engineer later that night to write the score. We completed it by midnight on Monday night. To have it ready for Tuesday deadline.
I am very happy and pleased with the final submission. We also put a "making of" so we could see all our hardwork and illustrate the work that was involved for our short film.
This has been a wild ride for our small group of people applying our animation skills. Some for only the 3rd - 4th time. So they have all been a pleasure to work with. all have taken my critiques and done a better job.
